What is the 2026 Mercedes-Maybach SL Monogram Series?
Mercedes is calling the SL Monogram Series the “sportiest model in Maybach brand history,” as well as “the ultimate open-air experience.” We can only assume that translates to performance with ultimately refined road comfort, great for long drives with the top down.
Debuting the 2026 Mercedes-Maybach SL Monogram Series at Pebble Beach, the Maybach is powered by a 4.0L biturbo engine and 9G-TRONIC automatic transmission that makes 577 horsepower. There will be two design concepts available for the two-seater, “Red Ambience” and “White Ambience.” Mercedes says the red and white hues portray “sensuality, beauty and lightness,” which is supposed to mirror the driving experience of this car. Take a closer look and you’ll notice the Maybach pattern is seen throughout the vehicle’s exterior and interior, starting with the grille. The Obsidian Black Metallic hood is available with the Maybach pattern in Graphite Grey. Move in even closer and you’ll get a glimpse of the Maybach pattern also used on the soft top. This Maybach gets exclusive 21-inch forged wheels with a multi-spoke design.
Meanwhile, the interior gets Crystal White Exclusive Nappa leather that extends to the door panels, centre console and seats, also including silver chrome accents throughout.
