Police have submitted a “comprehensive file of evidence” to the Crown Prosecution Service in an update on an incident at Manchester Airport which saw three officers injured and a man kicked in the head.

GMP Major Incident Team investigators have been “thoroughly investigating the incident” which happened in July.


Manchester Police said four men remain on police bail.

Video footage emerged of violent scenes at a car park in Terminal 2 which shows an officer attempting to restrain a man who then breaks free and throws punches.

The video also appears to capture the male officer pushing the man’s head down as his two female colleagues stand beside him.
