Lamine Yamal’s dad is reported to have been stabbed in a car park and rushed to the Can Ruti hospital in Badalona.
According to reports in Spain, Mounir Nasraoui received ‘more than one stab wound’ from the attack.
The incident is said to have occurred in a car park in Mataro before Nasraoui was taken to hospital.
Spanish outlet La Vanguardia initially reported that Nasraoui’s condition was ‘serious’.

However, Relevo claimed that the father of Spain’s 17-year-old prodigy was already back at home and recovering.
He is said to have been discharged from hospital following the knife attack with police on the scene of the crime to investigate.
The Catalonia police force, Mossos, have taken over the case and are said to have already spoken to several witnesses.
They have also reportedly made arrests of the alleged perpetrators of the attack on Nasraoui.
The attack comes just weeks after Yamal helped lead Spain to winning the 2024 European Championship.
Yamal and co broke English hearts in the Euros final last month with Spain winning 2-1.
The teenage sensation was named in the team of the tournament as well as the Young Player of the Tournament.
He also won the Goal of the Tournament for his sensational strike against France in the semi-final.
