OLYMPIANS INSPIRE US

Thank you, Canadian Olympians who represented our nation with such distinction. You’re our children who through years of tireless training and dedication have once again awakened Canadians’ pride in our nation that’s been torn apart in recent years. Just watching your efforts and seeing those straining bodies looking for success says it all. I hope your efforts will inspire Canada’s youth so they realize anything is possible — and through hard work — they could be part of the 2028 Los AngelesOlympics.

(They all did us proud. It is extraordinary to watch their athleticism and will to compete for their country. Bravo)

TRUDEAU CANNOT DO MATH

Math is hard for Justin Trudeau and his incompetence with numbers is creating chaos for Canadians. Now I’m not talking about how former prime minister Stephen Harper correctly predicted that Trudeau would never ever balance a federal budget. I’m talking about Trudeau’s open door policy for immigration. Instead of a well-managed immigration policy within the means of Canada, Trudeau has an open-door policy that has created a housing crisis where a large number of Canadians are homeless because the demand has exceeded the supply. Today, in Canada, even if you are one of the so-called “lucky” persons who have a home, your rent or mortgage payment is so high your disposable income after your residence payment makes even buying food difficult. The saddest consequence of Trudeau’s math foolishness is you can’t add millions of new Canadians to the country without a corresponding multibillion-dollar investment in health care without seeing a collapse of our universal health-care systems. Can’t find a family doctor, blame Trudeau. Thousands of nurses leaving the profession due to burnout, blame Trudeau. Emergency rooms completely closing on weekends or going on bypass, blame Trudeau. Our health-care crisis is close to the brink where there will be an unrecoverable total collapse. The question is, can Canada even make it to the next federal election?

(Canada’s health-care system has been on the brink for years, yet no one has the courage to address the obvious issue — socialized medicine is a failure)
