Peel police have charged a man in a sexual assault investigation.
Between 3:45 and 4:45 p.m. on July 30, a woman was walking along the Chinguacousy Trail near Central Park Dr. in Brampton, when she noticed that she was being followed by a man.
Police say the woman confronted the man who then allegedly sexually assaulted the victim before fleeing. The woman was not injured.
Adrian Ward, 29, of Brampton has been charged with sexual assault.
