Two men have been arrested in Leeds after a teenager had part of each of his ears bitten off in an assault in Antrim.

The two men, aged 28 and 20, were arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent and are currently in custody in Musgrave after their arrest by detectives from the PSNI’s Criminal Investigations Department.

The attack occurred in a licensed premises on Antrim High Street on May 12. The victim, who is in his late teens, attended hospital for treatment to his injuries.

Detective Inspector Lenaghan thanked colleagues in West Yorkshire Police and members of the public for their assistance in this investigation which remains ongoing.
