The Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement squad is on the hunt, asking for help in finding a federal offender wanted on a nationwide warrant after he allegedly breached the conditions of a statutory release.
Derek Oppong, 30, is a Black male, 6-foot and 194 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
Oppong is serving a 10-year sentence for unauthorized possession of a firearm, kidnapping, extortion, commission of an offence for a criminal organization, possession of a firearm knowing it was unauthorized, possession of a weapon contrary to a prohibition order and forcible confinement.
Oppong is known to frequent the GTA.
