The Battle of the Bulge took place toward the end of the Second World War in the Ardennes region of Belgium and Luxembourg, but there’s another bulge battle being fought at the pool in Paris this week.

In a picture snapped during practice earlier this week, Jules Bouyer’s skimpy swimsuit is fighting to contain the French diver.

Bouyer is seen standing in the shower after a practice dive ahead of this week’s competition and his trunks leave very little to the imagination.

The reaction to the sexy snaps on social media has been predictably wild.

“Perfection: Jules Bouyer,” a user on X posted.

“Only reason I love the Olympics,” another wrote.

“I just really hope his speedo is getting paid time and a half,” a third commented.

The 22-year-old from Annecy will compete in two events at the games: The individual three-metre springboard event and the men’s synchronized three-metre springboard final with partner Alexis Jandard — who has been getting his fair share of attention as well.

Jandard posted a red-hot photo of the pair before the Games began with a welcome message from the pair, who were standing in the shower.

One user replied with a picture of judges holding up perfect 10 scorecards — something that Bouyer and Jandard hope to accomplish when competing this week.

It should come as no surprise after seeing him in action, but Bouyer also is signed with Ford Models in Paris, according to the New York Post. He recently landed his first editorial shoot with Athletica Magazine as well.

This isn’t the first swimsuit-related story coming out of Paris, either.

A Dutch swimmer had everyone on social media doing a double-take after emerging from the pool after a race this weekend.

Arno Kamminga became an overnight sensation not so much for his performance in the pool, but how he looked when he got out of it.

Thanks to the decision made by those who designed the swimsuits for the Olympic team from the Netherlands at the Summer Games in Paris, many were wondering if Kamminga was even wearing more than his birthday suit in the pool.

With the pattern featuring a shade of orange that looks incredibly close to skin tone when wet, Kamminga looked like he was wearing nothing more than a small patch of fabric over his unmentionables after getting out of the water.
