The celebrations have ramped up a gear in Armagh on Monday evening as fans have gathered to welcome home Armagh’s All-Ireland winning football team.

Thousands of fans have streamed into the BOX-IT Athletic Grounds to cheer the team home as the streets were packed with orange jerseys.

Footage from the ground is showing the team arriving to join the celebrations in their team coach.

It comes as players from Armagh’s All-Ireland winning football team earlier paid a special visit to Craigavon Area Hospital with the Sam Maguire cup.

Manager Kieran McGeeney also visited the hospital, including the Blossom Children and Young People’s Centre, and signed autographs for children there.

One attendee, four-month-old Faé McKee, got a special opportunity to have her picture taken inside the Sam Maguire cup while also having her photo taken with Armagh captain Aidan Forker.
