A new video has emerged showing Donald Trump arriving at a Pennsylvania hospital after he was shot in the ear in an assassination attempt during a rally on Saturday.

The clip shows the Republican nominee for U.S. president walking into Butler Memorial Hospital as concerned patients and family members watch from a waiting room.

Rick Foerster, who went to the hospital after his wife fell ill from the heat during the rally, recorded the tense scene.

“Currently at the hospital with Karen,” Rick Foerster said in the clip. “President Trump was just shot, supposedly in the head, and they just rushed him here.”

Moments later, Trump emerged from a Secret Service vehicle and walked into the emergency room.

“He’s walking, he’s walking,” Rick Foerster exclaimed in relief.

He said he first learned of the assassination attempt after overhearing a phone call from a rally attendee that Trump had been shot.

“I ran down the hallway toward the bathroom and I went, ‘Karen! Karen! Trump was just shot in the head,” Rick Foerster told The Epoch Times.

His wife and a nurse couldn’t believe what they just heard, he said, adding a woman in the waiting room began to cry.

“What a horrible, horrible thing to witness,” Karen Foerster said.

The couple figured Trump would be sent to Butler Memorial as it was the closest hospital from the rally.

“Next thing I know, cops fly in, Secret Service flies up, and the shortest girl gets out, starts pointing at windows and doors, and telling people where to go,” Karen Foerster said.

As part of the security protocol for the former president, the hospital went into lockdown and the computer system was turned off.

While Trump was receiving treatment, no one was allowed to leave the hospital.

After finding out that Trump would be okay, the couple decided to come together with others in the waiting room and pray for the Republican nominee.

“We had four or five people come over and we just prayed and interceded for him,” Rick Foerster said. “We held hands. Each one of us took a turn praying, and lifted him up.”
