Police in Tennessee are on the hunt for a group of thieves who used pythons to rob a convenience store.

Authorities in Madison County, Tenn., shared store surveillance footage of the incident on their CrimeStoppers Instagram account in hopes of identifying the suspects.

According to the Madison County Sheriff’s Office, two Black females and two Black males used two pythons to steal “CBD oil valued at $400” from a Citgo in the area on March 4.

Police included photos of a black sedan, noting its trunk was tied with bungee cords, and included the hashtag #moron in their social media posts seeking the suspects.

Store employee Mayur Raval told local outlet WREG that he and his brother were working in the store at the time of the robbery.

“They were just waving [the pythons] around and putting them on the counter,” he recounted.

Raval described one of the pythons as white while the other was either brown “or a mix.”

He added that he believes the thieves would have stolen more items but there were many people nearby.
