Penny Lancaster has issued a heartwarming tribute to her stepdaughter Kimberly Stewart, 45, who has announced her new pregnancy.

The 54-year-old model married Kimberly’s music legend father, Sir Rod Stewart, 80, in 2007.

Lancaster and Sir Rod share two sons together, Alastair and Aiden, while he has six other children from previous relationships.

Kimberly Stewart, whose mother is American model Alana Stewart, is the Maggie May hitmaker’s eldest daughter.

The 45-year-old took to Instagram to share the news that she was expecting.

“Baby boy coming soon,” she captioned pics alongside pics of her cradling her bump.

Stewart already shares a daughter, Delilah Genoveva Stewart, with Hollywood actor Benicio Del Toro. Delilah, born in 2011, was Sir Rod’s first grandchild.

Recently, his 30-year-old son Liam welcomed a second child earlier this month.

Reacting to the news, Lancaster shared the joyous post on her Instagram story.

“So happy for you becoming a mother again,” she wrote, along with a white love heart.

Lancaster’s son Alastair also paid tribute to his older half-sister, penning: “The latest Stewart edition! Love you!”

Ruby Stewart, Sir Rod’s 37-year-old daughter to model Kelly Emberg, also sent her best wishes to the expecting mum after recently taking to the stage with her father.

“Couldn’t be more proud and happy for my sister Kim… Adding another boy to the Stewart clan this July! Love you,” she added.

Sir Rod has yet to send his own message to his daughter, who shared a sweet tribute to Lancaster as she celebrated her birthday March 15 birthday over the weekend.

Lancaster has recently spoken about how she gradually “tip toed” into Sir Rod’s large family brood.

“Now 10 years later they know who I am and we have formed a family bond,” she explained on Loose Women.

The 54-year-old explained she had become a source of wisdom for the music icon’s daughters as they took on motherhood. “I’ve always said to Rod’s girls that have had babies now, don’t feel bad if you feel guilty because it is a very normal feeling for a lot of mothers,” Lancaster explained.
