When it comes to power it’s always easier to take it with you rather than having to find it in a panic. That’s where Bluetti comes in, the manufacturer of portable power stations that you can use as a back-up or on the road.

The newest model released is the mighty Elite 200 V2, a 2KWh powerful power station designed for easy and convenient home use and when you’re on your travels. Don’t get me wrong, it’s relatively compact and portable but it’s pretty heavy – which is no surprise when you realise the power it holds and can supply.

How long will the battery last? A long, long time.. Its enhanced battery longevity means you’ll get a 6,000-plus cycle lifespan, so you can rely on it for 17 years of daily use — a crazy 12 times the typical industry standard. It’s also the first in the industry to pass over 33 rigorous battery tests by CNAS, ensuring high standards of performance and stability.

The Elite delivers a 2,600W output, capable of running household essentials like refrigerators, lights, routers and microwaves. For road-trippers, campers, and outdoor enthusiasts, the Elite can power everything from space heaters and coffee makers to phones and camera batteries.

When powering high-powered devices, you can activate the Power Lifting mode to access up to 3,900W — enough for running hot plates, hair dryers, and other high-demand appliances. Whether you’re camping off the grid or embarking on a cross-country road trip, the Elite will provide reliable portable power to keep your essentials running.

Charging the device is a synch with the smart battery management system regulating charging, preventing overheating, and keeping everything safe and stable. It takes a little of an hour to go from 0 to 80%. You can also charge via solar or you car (panels and cables sold separately).

You’ve got an embarrassment of ports to choose from as well, with four AC outlets, USB-A, and two high-output USB-C ports, making it easy to charge laptops, phones, and even run small appliances at the same time.

With multi-chip protection, you can confidently plug in high-starting power devices like car fridges through the car outlet or connect high-voltage solar panels without risking damage to the unit. Plus, it’s fire-resistant, shock-proof, and adaptive to your challenging adventures.

Think of an old-fashioned generator and you think noise. That’s not the case here. The Elite is whisper-quiet. As with almost everything in life,, there’s an app. It’s a sleek affair, giving you access to real-time monitoring and all the functions. You can track battery status and estimated charging time, monitor individual port usage, adjust settings, and toggle energy-saving modes.

All this power and functionality doesn’t come cheap. The Elite V2 costs £1,399 via Amazon, although at the moment you can take advantage of a hefty launch discount of £400.

What users say

Pamela: A great purchase at for a portable power station. I have bought portable solar suitcases to charge and am very pleased with how easy it is to manage. The app makes controlling the unit by WiFi or BT is very easy.

Mike: I was a bit confused getting my new v2 connected to Bluetooth. They answered the phone quickly and the rep walked me through it patiently. I just needed to set my phone to accept the app to communicate with it. Charged quickly and quietly and I expect it to meet my needs in a power outage.
