Prince William has opened up about his long-standing friendship with David Beckham in a rare interview.
The 42-year-old royal spoke candidly about his relationship with the football icon.
Beckham, 49, was recently appointed an ambassador for the King’s Foundation.
The pair have been spotted together at various high-profile events in recent months, alongside King Charles.

Beckham attended a special dinner at the King’s Highgrove home last month as part of his new royal role.
William took part in a fun spin-off of the viral ‘Football Legends – Head 2 Head’ game, facing some tough decisions.
When asked by The Sun who he would choose in a shoot-out between Zinedine Zidane and Beckham, the prince visibly grimaced.
He then joked that his friend might “kill him” if he was not selected it.

“This gonna hurt. Becks, I think – just… I think Becks might kill me if I don’t say him,” William quipped.
Beckham spoke about his royal connections during an event at the World Economic Forum in Davos earlier this year.
He became visibly moved, admitting he always gets “emotional talking about anything that I do with our Royal Family”.
The father-of-four revealed his unwavering support for Prince William.

The former Manchester United player said: “[If William messages] ‘I need you to do this’ or ‘be there’, it’s always a ‘yes’.”
Beckham revealed his mother Sandra burst into tears when he told her about his appointment as ambassador for the King’s Foundation.
“She knows my grandparents would have been proud that I have played such an important role in the Royal Family and the charities that they have,” he explained.
