Urban Outfitters is selling a “stunning” bow dress that’s “very flattering” for £20. Originally priced at £39, the Light Before Dark Bri Bow Mini Dress has been marked down to an enticing £19-£20, depending on your choice of colour.
The “classy” dress is available in navy, maroon, black, and chocolate. However, some sizes are out of stock. At the time of writing, the black dress is available in XXS to XL, the navy dress is available in XS to XL, the maroon dress is available in XS to L, and the chocolate dress is available in XS.
The product description reads: “Cute bows top this simple mini dress from Light Before Dark. Cut from a structured cotton fabrication featuring a square neckline and an empire waist complete with an A-line skirt.”
With an average score of 4.2 out of 5 and recommendations from 83% of reviewers, the dress is a hit among customers, despite suggestions that it tends to run on the small side, reports the Mirror. One delighted shopper commented: “This fits perfectly and the bows on the back are such a cute feature.”
Another added: “Gorgeous. This dress is very pretty, would recommend sizing up if you have a bigger chest. Very flattering!” A third fan praised: “I brought this dress for my work Christmas party, I got so many compliments, it’s lovely classy, I would only size up if you’re someone who’s worked about the mid section clingy, I got a medium and I’m a UK 10-12. Really flattering on the shape of the top too.”

Meanwhile, someone shared: “So gorgeous. The fabric is really nice and thick and lays nicely when on. The back is slightly longer than the front which is great for modesty. The only issue is the sizing comes up small – I wish I read more reviews before I ordered! Being shorter the straps were perfect and the bows were really cute at the back.”
A commenter replied: “Loved the colour and style but it was too short, there wasn’t enough boob space and the bows kept coming undone. Also the straps fell off my shoulders even after tightening them!”
Another response read: “It is a beautiful and elegant dress, suitable for many occasions. However, it runs very small. I am usually a size 8-10 / small in many occasions yet had to buy a large. Be aware when buying, however it is a beautiful dress.”
A different reviewer added: “This dress looks beautiful. It’s such a shame it didn’t fit me properly. The large was too small, and The extra large was slightly too big. I probably would have just kept it and lived with it a bit big, but unfortunately the bows at the back kept on coming undone and were really difficult to tie properly. In the end, it wasn’t worth it for me.”
