Katie Price has candidly opened up about going through menopause, admitting that her body is ‘ageing on the inside’. The 46-year-old former model spoke frankly on her podcast, The Katie Price Show, about entering a new phase of life just weeks after she suffered a miscarriage.
During a discussion about ’90s and ’00s boyband comebacks following the announcement that Five are reuniting, Katie expressed surprise at being the same age as those stars. According to the Mirror, she said: “When Five are coming back and the Boyzone thing – did you see that? So we’re all looking so much older, and I think, ‘They’re the same age as me,’ but I still don’t feel I’m old.
“But I know I am because even my body inside is going through the menopause, so I’m not a young spring chicken; it doesn’t matter how young I think I look, what tracksuit I put on and whatever.” She added: “My body is old! It’s scary, isn’t it? Inside my body, it is ageing, but the outside is fresh.”

Katie recently disclosed that she had become pregnant around Christmas with boyfriend JJ Slater, known from Married At First Sight UK. But the pair were left heartbroken when scans revealed they had lost their baby.
“I was just really sad because we went from joy and relief that I could get pregnant naturally, to confusion, heartbreak and sadness,” Katie said in a previous interview with The Sun.
“….We went to a clinic for blood tests and a scan and the scan showed where the baby was, but that it wasn’t alive any more.” Sadly, Katie had also suffered three previous miscarriages and an ectopic pregnancy.
The latter condition takes place when a fertilised egg implants itself outside of the womb, typically within a fallopian tube. The NHS explains that while this doesn’t always cause symptoms, it is not possible to save an ectopic pregnancy.

Katie is the proud parent of Harvey Price, 22, Junior and Princess Andre, 19 and 17, and Jett and Bunny Hayler, 11 and 10. Yet, she has never shied away from discussing her fertility challenges, even documenting her experiences through ‘Katie Price: Making Babies,’ a personal documentary with ex-fiancé Carl Woods.
After parting ways with Katie, her ex-beau, car salesman Carl Woods, told The Sun that he was ‘ecstatic’ that IVF with Katie didn’t work out. “I’m sure she’s glad she’s got the clean break. You know, we don’t have any ties,” he added.
