Health experts have raised serious concerns about Meghan Markle’s DIY bath salt mixture featured in her new Netflix series “With Love, Meghan”.

The duchess’s homemade concoction has been flagged by herbalists and skin care specialists who fear it could damage or even burn users’ skin.

The controversial mixture appears in the first episode of her eight-part series, which began streaming on March 4.

“Don’t try this at home!” warned Jennifer Christopherson, an experienced esthetician and YouTuber who created a video specifically cautioning viewers about Markle’s recipe.

In the episode, Markle prepares a guest basket for her friend, makeup artist Daniel Martin, which includes the questionable bath salts.

The mixture contains Epsom salt, Himalayan salt, arnica oil and lavender oil.

Experts note Markle fails to measure ingredients properly, dismissing a crew member’s question about quantities by simply saying “Quite a bit”.

When the mixture doesn’t fill the intended jar, she hastily adds more Epsom salt.

The primary concern is her failure to add a “carrier oil” to dilute the essential oils, which experts say should be mixed in ratios of at least eight to one.

Instead, Markle adds three drops of lavender and two full pipettes of arnica oil directly to the salt.

Christopherson described the amount of undiluted arnica as “a crap ton” in her 18-minute video critique.

The esthetician explained that essential oils are “unregulated substances” that can irritate skin if overused.

Christopherson warned: “You can’t just dump an essential oil in, give (it) to a friend and be, like, hey, have fun.”

She advised viewers wishing to use Markle’s recipe: “Get that whole thing out of your mind, what she did.”

Experts warn the mixture could cause rashes, hives or even burns.

Christopherson questioned Markle’s expertise, saying: “She likes to present herself as being this jack of all trades, that she knows about cooking, she knows about beauty, she knows about fashion, she knows about health. But, based on that, she doesn’t know about essential oils, I can tell you that right now. So just use caution. Just use care.”
