McFly star Danny Jones and his wife Georgia Horsley are reportedly “on a break and living apart” as they deal with the fallout from his controversial “kiss” with Love Island star Maura Higgins.
The news of their reported “break” comes after the pair were spotted having coffee together in London on Tuesday, marking their first public appearance since the scandal broke.
Reports first emerged after Jones and Higgins were caught in a “compromising position” at Universal Music’s Brits afterparty at 180 House – with footage published by The Sun showing the pair seemingly kissing at 3am.
A second video later emerged, reportedly showing them drinking wine together until 6am at a Sony party at Nobu Hotel in Marylebone.
The pair, who met during their time on ITV’s I’m A Celebrity last year, were reportedly seen “talking and laughing for ages” throughout the evening.
Despite Jones and Horsley’s recent meet up, sources close to the couple claimed to the Daily Star that the latter needs “time to process what has happened” and “only then can she begin to talk about the future.”

It was to the Daily Star that the pal close to the family claimed the duo are “on a break” amid the ordeal.
The couple – who have been married since 2014 and share a seven-year-old son, Cooper – were seen clutching takeaway hot drinks while walking in a park, appearing tense as they conversed.
MailOnline has also reported that their decade-long marriage is now “on thin ice” following the scandal – with neither party speaking on the matter.
Horsley had previously cancelled a planned public appearance at The Baby Show, where she was due to front a live podcast.
She also recently broke her social media silence with a black and white Instagram post of her son, captioned only with a heart emoji.

Insiders have claimed Horsley is “furious” about the situation, particularly the “chaos” it has brought to their lives.
“All she wants to do is protect her boy from this mess,” a source told Mail Online.

As the couple attempts to repair their marriage, Higgins is currently in Los Angeles, reportedly “keeping her head down” amid intense social media backlash.
The 34-year-old former Love Islander is said to be “really struggling” with the frenzy around the event, as friends claim the fallout has been “horrendous”.
She reportedly wants a chance to “set things right” with Horsley and is hoping to “ride out the wave” of criticism from abroad.
A source told The Sun: “Maura isn’t enjoying this one bit, which is why she’s keeping her head down.
“Maura is deliberately shying away because she just wants to ride out thisfurore. The negative commentsshe’s receiving for kissing a married man have hurt her bad, and she would have read every one.”
Another source told The Mirror: “Maura is a tough character, but the reaction to events of the last week has been utterly relentless, and it’s fair to say it’s taken its toll. She has found all of this very difficult to navigate.
“She appreciates she’s in the public eye, and there is extra interest around her, but the abuse is off the charts, and people need to calm down.
“She is trying to treat things as business as usual, but it’s hard.”
