Princess Kate made a triumphant return to the Commonwealth Day service at Westminster Abbey today, after missing last year’s event due to her cancer treatment.
The Princess of Wales, 43, joined King Charles and other senior royals for the annual celebration of the global ‘family of nations’.
Kate delighted royal fans with her appearance, marking her continued return to public duties.
Both the Princess and King Charles were unable to attend the 2024 service as they underwent cancer treatment.

The Princess stunned in a striking red Catherine Walker Beau Tie coat dress, paired with a matching £450 Gina Foster hat.
The wool creation features pleats and a bow at the neckline, a design Kate has worn on several previous occasions including the Together at Christmas carol service.
She accessorised with the four-row Japanese pearl choker that was part of Queen Elizabeth II’s personal jewellery collection.
Similar Catherine Walker dresses typically cost around £3,000, highlighting the Princess’s preference for the British designer who also created pieces for Princess Diana.

The Princess made the formal gesture look effortless in her bold red outfit, showcasing her 13 years of experience as a working royal.
The Prince and Princess of Wales also shared a sweet moment during the service, exchanging smiles and a giggle as they sat together.
Westminster Abbey holds special significance for the couple as the location of their April 2011 royal wedding.

Princess Anne and the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester were also in attendance at the important service, however, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh were absent.
The Commonwealth Day service recognises the relationship between the 56 member countries that form the Commonwealth.
