A man has been left “gobsmacked” after winning a McLaren supercar worth £117,000 on just a 19p prize draw.
Zane Khan, from Southall, west London, was amazed when BOTB presenter Christian Williams turned up at his door to bring the news.
Having never driven a supercar before, Khan said he was “gobsmacked” after finding out he won from a 19p prize draw entry.
“Wow, no way,” he said. “I’m really happy. I’m gobsmacked. I thought if I kept going, I might win something, but I never thought I’d win a car!”

Zane had the opportunity to sit in the McLaren 720S and start up the 4.0L twin-turbocharged V8 engine, which goes from 0-60 miles per hour in only 2.8 seconds.
“I love the look of the car and loved how it sounded when I revved it up,” Zane said.
Despite loving the McLaren, Zane is considering taking the cash alternative instead of the car.
With his wedding coming up in April, he said: “I would love the car, but taking the cash is more of a sensible thing to do, especially with my wedding coming soon.

“I’ve been doing my house up, so the money will also come in handy for that. I’d also like to use some of the cash to start my own food business.”
Zane revealed he had not told his partner that he entered the competition, heightening the surprise for her.
The couple are now preparing to travel to Bali for their honeymoon.
Presenter Christian said: “A massive congratulations to Zane on winning this sleek supercar.
“The McLaren 720S is seriously quick – one of the fastest cars I’ve ever driven.
“It’s a tough decision – car or cash – but with the wedding around the corner, I’m sure the money would come in handy. Either way, I couldn’t be happier for him!”
BOTB, a car competition company, was founded in 1999 by William Hindmarch.
The company has given away £87.6million-worth of cars so far.
