A new luxury hotel that overlooks Royal Portrush golf course has officially opened for guests ahead of the upcoming Open Championship.

Dunluce Lodge has been designed with features common to luxury golf hotels: a private helipad, a putting green designed by golf architect Martin Ebert and transfer to the clubhouses at the famous golf club.

The hotel also has a spa with four treatment rooms that uses products from Irish brand Seabody, as well as “sound healing” and private and group “movement sessions” outside of the spa.

For food and drink, the Dunluce Lodge has a restaurant with tasting and á la carte menus, private dining spaces and a stocked wine cellar.

Stephen Meldrum, general manager, Dunluce Lodge said: “This hotel is special. We are so excited to finally open Dunluce Lodge to the public and welcome our first guests.
