Good Morning Britain viewers were none too pleased this Friday (March 7), as they vented their grievances mere moments into the broadcast.

This morning’s episode saw presenters Kate Garraway and Rob Rinder deliver the day’s fresh headlines to ITV audiences.

Top of the agenda was Meghan Markle’s recent stint on The Drew Barrymore Show, where she promoted her newly launched Netflix series “With Love, Meghan”.

The Duchess had graced the American talk show on Thursday (March 6), sharing insights about her Californian family life with Prince Harry and their children.

In one segment, Meghan stepped into the kitchen to reveal culinary hacks, some of which feature in her show, reports the Manchester Evening News.

However, GMB’s focus on the Duchess left several watchers fed up, feeling the week had been saturated with Meghan chatter.

“Why are they talking about Meghan AGAIN? They spoke about her being on the Drew Barrymore show yesterday! My god this show are obsessed with her, living rent free in their minds,” a viewer expressed on X (formerly Twitter ).

“Whoever the @ITV producer of @GMB they really have an obsession with Meghan Markle for the last 8 years from Piers Morgan, Dan Wootton. We are now in 2025 and they are still obsessing over Meghan. LIKE it or not they are promoting her Netflix show which is becoming a global success,” another chimed in.

“#GMB are really plugging Meghan’s show,” remarked a third viewer, while another shared their frank opinion: “Not a fan of Meghan but this show absolutely f****** hate her.”

The Duchess of Sussex’s new lifestyle series made its debut on Netflix on Tuesday (March 4) and is performing well as the fourth most-watched programme on the platform in the UK.

In the show, Meghan imparts domestic wisdom that includes tips for “elevating” everyday meals. She also welcomes friends and celebrities to a Californian estate, where they exchange advice about cooking, gardening, and entertaining.

Among the guests gracing the screen are ‘The Office’ star Mindy Kaling, ‘Suits’ actress Abigail Spencer, along with culinary experts Roy Choi, Ramon Velazquez, and Alice Waters. In addition, viewers get a special treat as Prince Harry himself features in a cameo.

Despite the series’ success on Netflix, it hasnt been immune to harsh criticism. The eight-part show has been met with a wave of critical reviews, with some slamming it as “insane” and disparaging it as an “exercise in narcissism”.
