A new car park located close to Dublin Airport with space for more than 6,000 vehicles will open next week.

Passengers travelling through the airport will be able to use the new Park2Travel car park from Monday, March 10.

This means that passengers travelling over the long St Patrick’s Day bank holiday weekend will be among the first to avail of the new car park.

The parking at Dublin Airport is often sold out in advance of bank holiday weekends.

The new car park, located six minutes away from Dublin Airport, has a capacity for more than 6,000 vehicles.

APCOA Ireland managing director Neil Cunningham said that many people will already know the new car park location as it was formerly Quick Park until it closed in 2020.

“We’ve been busy preparing the car park ready for its opening on March 10,” he said.

“We look forward to welcoming customers and giving them a convenient, secure and sustainable airport parking experience,” he added.

A 24/7 shuttle bus service with transfers every 12 minutes during peak times will accommodate passengers between the car park and the airport.

The facility is monitored and patrolled for security and has dedicated on-site assistance, which is available at all times for customer support.

The car park also provides EV charging stations for electric vehicle users.

Pre-bookings can now be made at the Park2Travel website.

Full details, including a map and directions, can also be found on the car park’s website.
