As food prices look set to rise, GB News asks its members if it is time for Sir Keir Starmer to do a deal with British farmers.

The Prime Minister, who is dubbed “Starmer the Farmer Harmer”, faces yet more protests today over his inheritance tax raid.

However, the latest demonstration comes just hours after it was revealed that food prices rose by their fastest monthly rate in a year.

Food inflation jumped from just 1.6 per cent in January to 2.1 per cent last month, the British Retail Consortium has claimed.

Farmers will look to highlight the soaring costs by flipping pancakes, with the cost of the Shorve Tuesday staple being hiked b 40p due to machinery and infrastructure costs.
