Viewers of Dancing on Ice were left stunned when Christopher Dean, one of the judges, let slip a swear word live on air just minutes into the show. The incident occurred during tonight’s episode, hosted by Holly Willoughby and Stephen Mulhern.

The four remaining contestants – Michaela Strachan, Anton Ferdinand, Sam Ashton, and Dan Edgar – were all set to compete for a spot in the grand finale.

The unexpected moment came after Sam’s performance with his professional partner Molly, where they danced to Queen’s classic ‘I Want to Break Free’. Judges Ashley, Oti, and Chris all gave the performance a perfect score of 10, while Jayne awarded them a 9.5.

However, when asked to rate Sam’s solo challenge, Chris seemed to forget to give his score and exclaimed in surprise: “Oh f***ing heck, I forgot to put that in.”

He later explained, “I got so excited with your performance that I forgot to give you a mark.”, reports the Express.

Although the show quickly issued an apology for the slip-up, viewers were quick to share their reactions online. One viewer queried: “Did Christopher Dean just drop an F bomb? #DancingOnIce.”

Another commented: “Did Chris just go F***ing Heck. #dancingonice.”

Chris and Jayne Torvill have recently announced what’s next for them in the world of Dancing On Ice. The duo is poised to treat fans with one more sparkling performance on the ice, bidding farewell as they culminate an extraordinary 50-year ice-skating odyssey.

An emotional pre-recorded segment will celebrate the legendary pair who are best known for their stunning Bolero routine at the 1984 Winter Olympics, where they clinched the gold medal.

Chris expressed his feelings, admitting: “We’ve been doing it a long time and people our age shouldn’t be doing it now, so we’re just happy that we can still do it.”

Further, sharing his thoughts with The Sun, Chris revealed: “This will be our last live skate on Dancing On Ice because we’re doing our final tour this year. So once we’ve finished our last skate on the tour, we won’t be performing again.”
