A coach crashed into a hotel in a South West town, smashing a rear window and damaging a porch. The National Express coach hit the hotel while trying to manoeuvre around an illegally parked car on Friday (February 28) morning.
The coach crashed into the Tyacks Hotel in Camborne, Cornwall, with the tail end of the coach damaging the exterior porch. The hotel closed off the area as a safety inspection was carried out but it has since reopened the front entrance.
It is not believed that any passengers onboard were injured and that there were no pedestrians in the area at the time of the crash. Pictures taken from the scene show the damaged coach as the rear window has been completely smashed.

A spokesperson for National Express said: “While attempting to manoeuvre around an illegally parked vehicle at the Tyacks Hotel this morning (Friday 28 February), the tail end of our coach made contact with the hotel building, causing some damage to the exterior porch area and the rear side window of the coach.
“There were no reported injuries to passengers onboard the coach or to pedestrians in the area and we continue to assist police with their enquiries.”
