Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet are “super fascinated” by Meghan Markle’s new hobby, an insider has claimed.

Meghan has revealed her passion for beekeeping in her Montecito garden, where she tends to 100,000 bees.

The Duchess of Sussex becomes “like a giddy teenager” when surrounded by her beloved bees, according to her master beekeeper, Branden Aroyan.

Her enthusiasm for beekeeping will be showcased in her new Netflix series “With Love, Meghan”, which debuts on Tuesday, March 4.

The eight-part lifestyle and cookery show follows the Duchess as she potters around her kitchen and garden.

Aroyan, who set up Meghan’s hives in 2023, works with her monthly to maintain the colony and gather honey.

“She’s giggling. She’s just like, ‘Wow, that’s so amazing! Look at them! Oh my gosh, look at all those bees walking around, crawling around!'” Aroyan told the Mail.

The 50-year-old beekeeper described how Meghan constantly marvels at the insects.

The Duchess has ensured beekeeping is a family affair, purchasing special masked bee-keeping suits for five-year-old Prince Archie and three-year-old Princess Lilibet.

“Harry loves it, and Archie and Lilibet are into it too. It’s a whole family affair. They all have their own beekeeper suits. They’re just all super-fascinated by it,” Aroyan revealed.

Her two hives produce about two gallons of honey each season, enough to fill 64 8-oz jars.

“We harvest the honey, and I put it in jars for them,” says Aroyan.

The Duchess keeps honey from previous seasons to compare flavours.

“She wants to save as many bees as possible,” Aroyan explained. “She has two hives, with about 50,000 bees per hive in the garden.”
