Nana Akua has finally shared the identity of her fiancé after teasing GB News viewers throughout the day on Britain’s Newsroom.
After getting engaged in Venice, Italy, Nana announced she will be tying the knot with reformed gangster Stephen Gillen.
Gillen has spent a significant portion of his life in the public eye after completely turning his life around following a 17 year prison sentence.
Nana explained: “He was in prison many years ago, but he has completely reformed and turned his life around.”

Asked by Ben Leo if he is a “tough guy”, she responded: “He is a very tough guy, he’s a very hard man, yes.”
She then recalled her first encounter with Gillen, which came about on GB News two years ago.

“We met on GB News! It was about two years ago I interviewed him for the first time”, she said.
“I remember looking, thinking, ‘why is this man so shy? What’s wrong with him? Speak properly!’
“Then a little while ago, he split up with his partner and we ended up going out.”
Asked who courted who, she said: “He chased me!”

Nana made the bombshell announcement earlier on in the show, much to the surprise of her co-host Ben Leo.
“It doesn’t look like there will be anymore dating for me”, she said, holding up her ring-adorned hand.
“Did you notice it?, she asked, leaving Ben staggered. “I didn’t know about this. Nana has not told me about this”, he admitted.
“Are you joking? Wow! Who is it? Nana Akua is engaged and she has just announced it live on GB News.

Ben and Nana were forced to cut their conversation short as the broadcast joined Tatiana Sanchez for the news, but upon GB News’s return to Britain’s Newsroom, she was probed on the matter further.
