GB News star Nana Akua has announced on The People’s Channel that she is engaged.
Co-host Ben Leo, who had not been warned about the announcement, was hilariously ill-prepared for such a bombshell.
Nana, who has been with the People’s Channel since its inception in 2021, interrupted Ben’s trouser talk to deliver the wonderful news.
“It doesn’t look like there will be anymore dating for me”, she said, holding up her ring-adorned hand.

“Did you notice it?, she asked, leaving Ben staggered. “I didn’t know about this. Nana has not told me about this”, he admitted.

Ben and Nana were forced to cut their conversation short as the broadcast joined Tatiana Sanchez for the news, but upon GB News’s return to Britain’s Newsroom, she was probed on the matter further.
“I thought you were joking. If you are just tuning in, our Nana Akua is now engaged”, he said.
“She’s now taken! I know you have lots of fans.”

Nana teased viewers about who the fiancé may be, saying all will be revealed in due course.
She then revealed details about the proposal itself, where she was whisked away to a beautiful European destination.
“I was taken to Venice. It was literally the best proposal ever. It was in a palace”, she said.
“He knew that if he did that, I couldn’t say no.”
Britain’s Newsroom’s inbox soon became inundated with well-wishers, with one GB News viewer telling her: “We love you in our house, Nana, I’m so pleased for you.”
