Two crooks are sought for smashing their way into a home in Toronto’s tony Annex area and stealing more than $150,000 in “luxury items” earlier this month.

Toronto Police say officers responded to a break-and-enter call in the area of Dupont St. and Spadina Rd. around 7:45 p.m. on Feb. 7.

It is believed that two men “gained entry into the home by breaking a rear door,” Const. Stephanie Miceli said in a statement released Thursday.

“They obtained a large quantity of luxury items valued at over $150,000, including watches, jewelry, and handbags,” she said, adding the bandits took off and were last seen running east near Dupont TTC station.

Both men are described as being 20-30 years old, about 5-foot-7, with a medium build. They were wearing dark jackets, black pants and black shoes. One man was carrying a “Jansport” backpack.
