Aldi customers can purchase an item that could convince others they’ve splurged nearly £40, but in reality, it’s the supermarket’s latest affordable alternative. The highly sought-after Travel Flask with Handle (£5.99) is returning to Aldi’s middle aisle, and many have likened its style and quality to the pricey Stanley Cup.
To provide another option, Aldi is introducing a new Mini Travel Flask with Handle (£4.99) in March, described as the “perfect option for those looking for a smaller alternative.” At a quick glance, it would be hard to tell the difference between the supermarket’s version and the more expensive high-end brand.
Both feature a sleek stainless-steel design, double-wall insulation, and a versatile sipper suitable for use with or without a straw. The compact version holds 580ml, while the larger version holds 1.15L.
With a price tag of under £5, it’s clear why customers might choose the affordable option instead of the Stanley Cup. A similar-looking Stanley Quencher H2.0 Flowstate costs £40, allowing Aldi shoppers to save around £35.
The popular 1.15L version will return in new spring colours – including pink, orange, cream, and teal – matching the mini option. With the savings, customers could complement their cup with Aldi’s Flask Snack Tray (£1.99), designed to fit both mini and full-sized travel flasks, reports the Mirror.

Shoppers can enjoy cool drinks and their favourite treats all in one place. The tray slots right over the top of your cup and is divided into five separate segments, ensuring your range of snacks doesn’t get mixed together. To truly match, choose from the same shades as the cups.
Those eager to snap up the latest Specialbuys will need to act fast. As with all Specialbuys, once they’re gone, they’re gone. Aldi’s Travel Flasks will hit the shelves on March 2.
The full range of special items can be found online. Those who miss out on the Aldi version might want to check out B&M, where similar cups are also causing a stir online.

The printed cups, priced at £3.50, have been compared to the popular Stanley Cup – but without the hefty price tag. The leak-proof 550ml cups feature a pink lid with an integrated straw.
One design has a pale white background adorned with flowing pink bows, while the other is the same pink as the lid but decorated with small daisy patterns. If you were to purchase a genuine Stanley cup elsewhere, the closest in size would be the Iceflow Flip Straw Tumbler, which holds 900ml. However, despite its larger capacity, its £43 price tag makes the Aldi or B&M options more affordable.
