After strong demand, Aldi has brought back one of their most popular ready-meal ranges to shoppers’ delight, but the supermarket is warning people to be quick. Not only is the range bound to sell-out soon, it’s also only available for a limited time.
The popular Bilash Curry Range is returning to stores this month, bringing restaurant-quality Indian cuisine to shoppers’ kitchens for a fraction of the price. Aldi said the decision was made following “its hugely successful debut during National Curry Week last October where the supermarket sold over one million products.”
The supermarket boasts that “dinnertime will be transformed into a vibrant culinary experience” thanks to the range.
Included in the Bilash Curry Range includes the Bilash Cuisine Chicken Biryani (£3.49), Bilash Cuisine Lamb Rogan Josh (£3.49), Bilash Cuisine Gunpowder Potatoes (£1.49) and Bilash Cuisine Dal Makhani (£1.49).
Purchasing all the above would cost shoppers less than £10, will all four dishes coming to a total of £9.96.
Other dishes are available as part of the range. Vegetarian main options include: Bilash Cuisine Paneer Curry (£3.49) and Bilash Cuisine Vegetable Kofta Curry (£3.49). There is also prawn curry on offer as well as a range of chicken dishes.
Sides include pilau, mushroom, and peshwari rice, which all cost £1.29 each. Shoppers can also choose a range of naans, bhajis, pakoras, samosas, and poppadoms.
On social media, shoppers expressed their excitement at the range’s return.
One person said: “Aldi’s new curry range is absolutely amazing and loads cheaper than a takeaway!”
Another shopper said they “need” to try the range, whilst a third person said: “Definitely keeping my eyes open for these next time I’m in Aldi”.
The range will be back on shelves on February 25th, but be quick! Shoppers will only be able to purchase the dishes up until March 6th.
