A restaurant on the Harbourside serves the best burgers in Bristol, according to our readers. Earlier this month, we asked you where the best burgers can be found in the city.
We then announced the shortlist with the top five that got the most mentions. And we can now reveal Squeezed on Cargo, Wapping Wharf, has been crowned winner.
The award-winning restaurant has a high Google review rating too, with an average rating of 4.8 after 504 reviews. A recent reviewer said: “Lovely and super friendly staff, amazing food and lemonade, was nice to sit inside too great music and vibe.”
And another one said: “Unreal Burger, really solid lemonade. A must go in Bristol.
“Chef was also a talented singer.”
While another one said it “blows their mind every time”, saying: “THE best burgers and THE best fries in Bristol by a mile. I’ve tried all the other top-notch burger spots and nothing compares to Squeezed. It is elite. It is amazing. It blows my mind every time. Thank you. Holy cow.”

We have also found out where the city’s best greasy spoon is. After nearly a thousand votes were cast, Abbots Kitchen on Dundry Road, in Whitchurch, South Bristol, became the winner after receiving 432 votes.
We also asked our readers to recommend the best fish and chip shop in Bristol and, after just over a thousand votes were cast, Marios Fish Bar on Pool Road, Kingswood, was the clear winner after receiving 586 votes. Furthermore, we have found a takeaway in South Bristol serves the best Chinese food in the city, according to our readers.
And, lastly, earlier this month we found a pub in East Bristol serves the city’s best pizza. After more than 300 votes were cast, the Red Lion pub on Whitehall Road was crowned winner.
