Donald Trump is firing back at Justin Trudeau after the Prime Minister celebrated Team Canada’s win over the U.S. at the 4 Nations Face-Off final.

Following Canada’s victory Thursday night, Trudeau — who Trump has repeatedly referred to as the “Governor of Canada” — bragged over the squad’s 3-2 overtime triumph over the USA.

“You can’t take our country — and you can’t take our game,” Trudeau posted to X after the match. His statement was a swipe at Trump’s pledge to turn Canada into America’s 51st state.

Trudeau also re-shared Hayley Wickenheiser’s fiery post-game interview following Canada’s victory over the U.S. at the 2002 Salt Lake City Winter Games.

“You know what?” Wickenheiser said when Don Cherry asked the former captain of the Canadian women’s team about a rumour that the Americans had the Canadian flag on the ground in their dressing room and were walking over it. “The Americans had our flag on their floor in the dressing room.”

As she drew in a breath, she said: “And now I want to know if they want us to sign it.”

“What she said,” Trudeau captioned the clip.

During a wide-ranging interview on The Brian Kilmeade Show Friday, Trump praised both teams and said the final could have “gone either way.”

“Well, we won the first game and the second game was a great game,” Trump said when Kilmeade asked him about Trudeau’s gloating social media post. “The game was a fantastic game. I watched the end of it. I was making a speech to the governors of our country, so I couldn’t watch most of it. But I watched the end. It was a great game. Both teams played really well. I thought it was terrific. I congratulate the Canadian team because the American team was fantastic.”

Heading into Thursday night’s hockey battle, Trump tried to fire up Team USA with a call to the squad before they hit the ice.

Trump also teased Trudeau by referring to him once again as “governor” and inviting him to watch Thursday’s game along with other U.S. governors in Washington.

Addressing Trudeau’s taunts afterwards in his chat with Kilmeade, Trump was dismissive of the Liberal Leader’s attempt to talk tough.

“Justin’s a loser — always has been … I think he’s done a very bad job for Canada,” Trump swiped. “He’s taken it radical left.”

Seemingly unaware that he’s stepping down next month, Trump went on to predict that Trudeau wouldn’t be re-elected.

“He’s going to lose the election, it looks like pretty big, if he even runs,” Trump said.

When Kilmeade confirmed Trudeau was resigning as prime minister, Trump was quick with another barb.

“Looks like he’s not going to run. That’s a smart move because he wouldn’t have a chance of winning. So, Justin’s sort of a nice guy, but he’s a loser.”

After boos rained down on the U.S. anthem in Montreal in the early part of the tournament, Trump praised the fans at Boston’s TD Garden for not jeering the Canadian anthem as heavily ahead of Thursday’s final.

“I think it’s great that they didn’t,” he said.

Despite his threats to impose 25% tariffs on Canadian good entering the U.S. and steep 50 to 100% tariffs on Canadian-made cars, potentially damaging the economies of both countries, Trump insisted the U.S. has “a great relationship with Canada” but “not with Justin.”

“He’s too far radical left. He’s killing Canada; Canada is doing terribly right now. His policies, his radical left, Marxist policies have absolutely destroyed Canada. Canada is in bad shape,” Trump declared.
