A man in his 70s has died following a multi-vehicle crash near Killinick, Co Wexford.
Gardai and other emergency services responded to the collision on the N25 at Orristown at approximately 5.15pm on Tuesday.
The driver of one of the vehicles, the man in his 70s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
His body was removed to University Hospital Waterford where a post-mortem examination will take place.
The crash involved four vehicles.
No other injuries were reported.
The road was due to remain partially closed overnight ahead of a technical examination by Garda forensic collision investigators on Wednesday morning.
Gardai are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident to contact them.
