Sky has unveiled its latest television offering, Sky Glass TV, boasting “better picture and sound” than ever before. Announced on Tuesday, the new Sky Glass provides a “brighter picture and a bolder sound,” according to the company.
The second-generation Sky Glass boasts enhanced 4K HDR image quality and vibrant 4K Quantum Dot technology, paired with a built-in seven-speaker Dolby Atmos sound system for an all-encompassing viewing experience.
With the introduction of Sky Glass Gen 2 comes a significant shift in broadcast technology – the device features integrated Sky TV, which allows for streaming over Wi-Fi and eliminates the need for a traditional satellite dish or external box. Setting up the unit is meant to be a breeze; it arrives in a single box, ready to place on its stand, connect to Wi-Fi, and start enjoying content with just one required wire.
