B&M shoppers are in for a treat as the discount retailer has brought back a rare chocolate treat that’s usually hard to find in the UK. The store has imported another batch of international goodies, much to the excitement of sweet-toothed fans.

On Facebook, Daniel shared his discovery with the Snack Reviews group. He said: “Perky Nana chocolate bars back att B&M!”

The Cadbury sweet, beloved in New Zealand and Australia, features a creamy banana-flavoured centre encased in milk chocolate. While B&M is known for stocking Australian treats at bargain prices, these particular chocolates stand out for their affordability.

Priced at just £1 each, shoppers love that they don’t have to pay inflated import prices. Instead, they cost about the same as what some might expect to pay for a standard British chocolate bar, reports the Mirror.

The return of Perky Nana bars follows the recent reappearance of Cherry Ripe and Pinky bars on B&M shelves. Enthusiastic customers didn’t hesitate to express their happiness about the yellow-wrapped bars making a comeback.

One customer said: “They’re beautiful!” Another suggested: “If you like soft foam bananas in chocolate. Try them!” A third added: “These look and sound good. Wonder if they’re a bit like banana skids? I love them chewy bars!”

Someone else claimed: “Love them, I buy 10 at a time, chewy banana filling! They always sell out though hence why I get so much. I don’t like when people get greedy but other people are doing it and I’m not going to miss out!” A fifth person commented: “I need to stock up. They’re my absolute favourite!”

Meanwhile, the treats certainly divided opinion, with another customer stating they “taste like chemicals” and another adding: “They’re absolutely vile!” If you want to try one for yourself, locating your nearest B&M store is quick and easy with their online store locator tool.
