It seems that U.S. President Donald Trump has ruled out deporting Prince Harry.

There was talk that once Trump began his second stint in office, he would look into whether the Duke of Sussex had lied about his past drug use when emigrating from England.

Conservative think tank Heritage Foundation have been pushing for Trump to unseal the royal’s immigration file to unearth any false claims following Harry’s admission in his 2023 tell-all book, Spare, that he took cocaine, cannabis and psychedelic mushrooms.

Visa and green card applicants are typically required to disclose their history of drug use, and could be deported if officials discover any inaccuracies.

Heritage Foundation suggested that Harry was given preferential treatment by the Biden administration after he and his family moved to California due to their split from the Royal Family.

But Trump has bigger fish to fry than a royal guppy like Harry, and told the New York Post he’s lost interest in forcing Meghan Markle’s husband out of the country.

“I don’t want to do that. I’ll leave him alone,” he told the Post.

Trump explained: “He’s got enough problems with his wife. She’s terrible.”

The president has previously called the Duchess of Sussex “nasty” and often reiterated how he was “not a fan” of the former Suits star, who, in turn, has voiced her own disapproval of Trump, calling him “divisive” and “misogynistic.”

Trump also said he believed Harry was “whipped” by Meghan and the royal is “being led around by his nose.”

On the other hand, Trump had nothing but praise for Harry’s older brother, Prince William, with whom he met privately in Paris in December during the reopening ceremony of Notre Dame Cathedral.

“I think William is a great young man,” he said.
