Police have raided two houses in north Belfast earlier today as part of an investigation into the West Belfast UDA.
The PSNI said officers from the Paramilitary Crime Task Force were involved in the operation.
Police confirmed a “number of items were seized” as part of the search.
PSNI Detective Sergeant Gourley said: “The searches were part of an ongoing investigation into suspected criminality linked to the West Belfast UDA and were conducted under the Misuse of Drugs Act.
“A number of items were seized, which were removed for forensic examination.
