Viewers of the popular ITV show have been speculating wildly, yet one astute Reddit user feels confident they’ve identified four crucial clues that all lead to Pointless host Richard Osman.
Dismissing the idea of it being Example, this shrewd observer stated: “I know most people are saying Example but I’ve linked all the clues and most of the clues match up to Richard Osman.”
This fan delved into the Bear’s Clue Package VTs and performance quirks, linking them directly to Richard.
From referencing Cliff Richard (hinting at his own name) to performing Blur’s ‘Tender’ which could hark back to his familial connections, as the superfan observes, “Richard Osman’s brother in Suede Suede, which included Mat, singer Brett Anderson, and guitarist Justine Frischmann, was part of the Britpop ‘big four’ alongside Oasis, Blur, and Pulp.”.
The Mirror reports Bear’s video teases also seemingly reveal an affection for Fulham FC, echoing Richard’s known support for the club. Furthermore, the eagle-eyed theorist notes a potential nod to his friend and ex-co-host Alexander Armstrong.
