A suspect is sought after a man was critically injured in a midtown stabbing on Thursday night.
Toronto Police said officers responded to a stabbing call at about 10:30 p.m. in the Bathurst St.-St. Clair Ave. W. area.
Police said a man approached the victim from behind and stabbed him before fleeing eastbound on St. Clair Ave.
The victim was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The suspect is described as 5-foot-10 and 30-40 years old. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, black shoes and a black jacket with a blue hood.
