Love Island fans were less than pleased, voicing their disappointment when the latest instalment of the hit ITV2 reality series concluded with an intense cliffhanger.
In tonight’s show, the fan-favourite challenge Snog, Marry, Pie made a comeback but with an unexpected twist. The game took everyone by surprise as it’s typically played during daylight hours, yet this episode saw the challenge happening at night after the contestants had dressed up for the evening.
Each participant was charged with choosing who they’d marry, snog, or pie out of the opposite sex islanders.
Unsurprisingly, drama ensued with Luca Bish, Samie Elishi, and Grace Jackson at the centre, due to their ongoing love triangle, reports the Mirror.

After the public vote, bombshell Samie ended up coupling with Luca, causing him to part ways with Grace, heightening interest in whether Samie would plant a kiss on Luca during the game.
But just as Samie was set to make her move, the show came to a sudden halt, much to the displeasure of viewers watching from home.
A disgruntled viewer commented on X, previously known as Twitter : “#LoveIsland why finish now there’s still meant to be 5 mins.”

Meanwhile, one person anticipated: “I’ve just got a feeling the tomorrow night is gonna contain Luca and Samie. WATCH #LoveIsland #LoveIslandAllStars.”
One fan was clearly shocked by an abrupt show ending, exclaiming: “B****? ? ? WHY THEY ENDING IT LIKE THAT #LoveIsland.”

In another segment of the programme, Luca and Samie experienced an uncomfortable date, following recent tension that escalated after Luca chose to sleep away from the main bedroom and neglected giving Samie any attention.
Throughout the awkward encounter, Samie disclosed her unexpected link to Luca, mentioning how he sent her a ‘happy birthday’ message previously. However, she confessed to not replying since she was in a relationship at the time.
Luca used humour to address the reveal, sarcastically remarking: “Must have been hard” and continued with a pointed comment about his own situation: “I have a situationship so I can’t reply.”
