Kanye West has doubled down on his defence of his controversial Grammys appearance with wife Bianca Censori following the huge media storm which was sparked by the latter’s “nude” look.

The X-rated outfit continues to raise eyebrows four days on from the brief appearance, and rapper West has taken to social media to defend the choice.

The 47-year-old shared more snaps of Censori, 30 attending the star-studded event, where she made quite the entrance as she dropped her thick black coat to reveal a see-through mesh “dress” with no underwear.

Many have claimed the model appeared very “uncomfortable” and have accused West of being controlling towards his wife of two years.

This concern was heightened when a lip-reading expert speculated West had told Censori to drop the coat and instructed her where to stand. Inside sources have also claimed the entire stunt came from West.

On Wednesday evening, West wrote next to the snaps on X a series of love hearts along with a lengthy statement.

“My wife’s first red carpet opened a whole new world,” it read.

“I keep staring at this photo like I was staring in admiration that night. Thinking wow I am so lucky to have a wife that is so smart talented brave and hot.

“She took a break from shooting her first film to make a movie in real life. We Tailored that invisible dress 6 times.

“And just like magic poof we disappeared. Thank you to all the outlets who recognized us and gave us back the energy we put in.”

He ended the statement: “But I have to give a shout out to the American Vogue team for writing an article that places my wife in a strong positive light and also recognizes rightful strength.

“People asked how would your mother feel. You don’t know my mama b****.” (sic)

The statement came amid widespread concern for Censori on social media, with many speculating she isn’t a willing participant in the shocking public displays with her husband.

It was reported on Wednesday that one source who allegedly spoke to the pair following the incident explained Censori was “talked into” wearing the “outfit” by the rapper, with the insider adding the Australian model would have preferred to have been sporting “a pretty dress”.

They continued: “When Ye [Kanye] gets something in his head, there’s no talking him out of it. But make no mistake, this was totally him and not her,” MailOnline reports.

In footage from the red carpet, West was interpreted as telling Censori: “You’re making a scene now,” to which she nodded in agreement.

Make a scene, I’ll say it’ll make so much sense,” the lip reader claims West continued, followed by specific instructions: “Drop it behind you and then turn.”

West reportedly concluded his directions by adding: “I got you,” to which Censori responded: “Alright. Let’s go.”

The duo reportedly left very shortly after the controversial red carpet walk, sparking untrue claims that they had been escorted out.
