Taylor Swift reportedly has concerns about potentially overshadowing her boyfriend Travis Kelce at this weekend’s Super Bowl in New Orleans, where both she and Donald Trump are set to attend.
The singer, whose presence at NFL games has drawn significant attention throughout the season, is reportedly determined to ensure the focus remains on Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs as they attempt to make history.
Trump’s attendance will mark the first time a sitting President has been present at a Super Bowl.
According to a source quoted in The Sun, Swift ‘doesn’t want to be the centre of attention’ and ‘just wants to support Travis and help him focus on the game’.

The source added that Swift is ‘dreaming about him making Super Bowl history and reaching another dream of his, winning another Super Bowl and making a three-peat’.
The couple reportedly have a strong mutual understanding of supporting each other’s careers. ‘They know when to step back for each other so they can focus and be fully prepared’, the source said.
Trump will attend the game as a guest of Saints owner Gayle Benson, marking an unprecedented moment in Super Bowl history.
The former president has already shown his support for the Chiefs, congratulating them on Truth Social after their victory over the Buffalo Bills in January.
“Congratulations to the Kansas City Chiefs. What a GREAT Team, Coach, Quarterback, and virtually everything else, including those fantastic FANS, that voted for me (MAGA!) in record numbers”, Trump wrote.
Kelce has also shown his delight in hearing news of Trump’s upcoming attendance at the Super Bowl.

He said: “That’s awesome. It’s a great honour.
“No matter who the president is, I know I’m excited because it’s the biggest game of my life.
“Having the president there, it’s the best country in the world, and that’s pretty cool.”
The political dynamics surrounding the event reflect recent electoral tensions, with Swift having endorsed Kamala Harris whilst Brittany Mahomes, wife of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, backed Trump.
Several Chiefs players, including Harrison Butker and James Winchester, have publicly supported the Republican party.
In contrast, Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie was once recorded calling Trump’s first presidential term “disastrous”, with the team declining a White House invitation after their 2018 Super Bowl victory.

Earlier this season, NBC’s coverage of Trump at a Jets-Steelers game drew criticism from viewers who noted his limited screen time compared to Swift’s frequent appearances at Chiefs games.
Trump has maintained an active presence at American football events, having attended college matches between Alabama and Georgia, as well as Navy versus Army this past season.
