New Balance has launched a massive deal on a pair of unisex trainers, which have been dubbed “the most comfortable shoe to exist” by one particularly satisfied customer. The WRPD Runner Shoes, usually retailing at £155, are currently up for grabs for just £93, offering consumers a substantial 40% saving.
These trainers come in two understated colour options: “moonrock with light mushroom”, and “flat taupe with sparrow” and you can see what that actually means on their website as we’re not entirely sure if we’re being honest. With their ‘uniquely conceptual design’, the shoes the brand says boast a “flowing aesthetic marked by sculpted shapes and sinuous detailing” which, again, we’re not sure about so you might want to check out the site for a better idea.
Crafted from a mix of knit, leather, and wool blend mesh upper, the sneakers feature FuelCell foam that the manufacturer says “delivers a propulsive feel to help drive you forward”. Yeh, we’re not sure either, but you know what to do by now.
So, whether you’re running errands or want a cool casual sneaker, these unisex kicks are available in sizes 3.5 to 12.5 as of now, with a standard width fitting also on offer, reports the Liverpool Echo. A delighted shopper remarked: “Super comfy shoe, I am totally in love. I am glad I made this purchase, its now my daily sneaker. My parcel arrived about three weeks ago and I have worn these daily! I am obsessed.. I love how they are high and give extra clearance for my jeans! They’re comfy too and warm.”
A second customer enthused: “My job requires a lot of walking and standing, and I usually have cramps on my leg/feet by the end of the day. My life changed after putting these shoes on – they are so comfortable, my legs are no longer cramping after work anymore!
“I feel my feet are being hugged inside the shoes. For the people saying the shoes runs big, choose from the W size instead of the M (W is the size in women and M is the sizes in men). It is actually true to size.”
Meanwhile, another shopper added: “The most comfortable shoe to exist. Comfiest shoe out there and on trend with the dad sneaker look.”
However, one buyer encountered issues with sizing, noting: “I like this shoe, it’s comfortable and makes me like an inch taller which I always appreciate. But the sizing is off. I’m a solid 6.5 size, and I always wear 6.5’s in New Balance, but I ordered 6.5 in this shoe and it was an inch too big. I’m returning for a half size smaller, but I’m a bit worried even that will be too big.”
