The Masked Singer UK fans are pretty sure they’ve sussed out the person behind Kingfisher’s mask.
The much-loved ITV spectacle returned not long ago, showcasing a fresh roster of celebs concealing themselves beneath whimsical get-ups and masks.
This season’s contestants encompass Bush, Dressed Crab, Bear, Kingfisher, Pegasus, Pufferfish, Snail, Spag Bol, Tattoo, Teeth, Toad In The Hole, and Wolf. Panel judges Davina McCall, Maya Jama, Mo Gilligan, and Jonathan Ross, give their verdicts, while Joel Dommett brings the fun as host.
Thus far, ‘Toad In The Hole’ revealed herself to be Macy Gray, ‘Pegasus’ was none other than Prue Leith, Kate Garraway was discovered within ‘Spag Bol’, and just last week, Carol Decker was exposed from beneath ‘Tattoo’. Most recently, ‘Teeth’ shocked viewers by being Mel Giedroyc.
Now, sleuthing fans are convinced they’ve deciphered who ‘Kingfisher’ is, pinpointing a past Strictly Come Dancing star. On Reddit, one user admitted: “I have a weird feeling king fisher is nick knowles. I’m definitely wrong because I’m never right with this show but if you look up his albums I feel like it’s similar but I think I’ve probably convinced myself to think it does”, reports the Mirror.
Others chimed in with agreement: “I thought the same thing on Saturday! I’m sure I’m not right but would be awesome if we were”, “it crossed my mind cause of the diy clues!” and “my dad said this and he hardly watches the masked singer!”

Viewers saw Teeth voted off last week and revealed to be Mel Giedroyc. The former Great British Bake Off host faced Bear in the sing-off before her unmasking.
Social media was abuzz as viewers expressed their astonishment at the reveal, with many confessing they hadn’t guessed it was 56-year-old Mel behind the mask.
One viewer tweeted: “Well that’s hilarious, I had absolutely no idea it was Mel #TheMaskedSinger”, while another commented: “Love Mel she’s such a lovely funny lady fair play to her! #TheMaskedSinger”. Another fan shared: “I am obsessed with Mel being Teeth #TheMaskedSinger” and someone else posted: “mel giedroyc on the masked singer WHATTTT #TheMaskedSinger.”
Reflecting on her time on the show, Mel said: “I’ll take Su Pollard! It’s so nice to see you guys. I love these teeth so much! I was very pleased with Alex Scott. Such a fun show, it’s impossible not to have fun on this show!”
