A young man suffered serious head injuries after allegedly being attacked in a pub garden in Downend. Investigating officers from Avon and Somerset Police have released CCTV images of two men they want to identify in connection with the reported assault on Tuesday, December 24 last year.
Police said a fight broke out in the rear garden of the Horseshoe pub, in Downend Road, at around 9pm. The victim, 26, suffered head injuries but has since been discharged from hospital.
Two men, aged 24 and 23, have been arrested in connection with the alleged assault. They have been released on bail for further enquiries to take place.
Avon and Somerset Police said: “We’ve reviewed CCTV footage as part of our ongoing investigation. If you know who any of the men are or have any relevant footage from that evening, please call us on 101 and give the call handler the reference number 5224410431.”
