Officers are hunting a suspect after a mugger made off with a woman’s debit card and her PIN number, according to Toronto Police.
A robber asked a woman in the Danforth-Greenwood Aves. area for change on Dec. 30, before demanding her debit card and PIN number.
Police said the man fled in a red vehicle after getting what he wanted. The woman was not injured.
Police released an image of a suspect Tuesday, who is in his mid-50’s, with a skinny build and grey-and-white facial hair.
Bandits carry out home invasion, leave empty-handed
Armed thugs made demands for cash and jewelry during a home invasion in East Gwillimbury, but left empty-handed, according to York Regional Police.

Officers said three men — described as Black and between 20-30 years old — barged into a home in the Olive St.-Walker Rd. area last Thursday around 1 p.m.
The trio fled the home, getting into a dark-coloured SUV driven by a fourth crook, said police.
Alleged sex trafficker faces charges
A woman was assaulted sexually and physically while being trafficked in the sex trade, according to Halton Regional Police.
Officers said that during a 10-month period, a victim was coerced and controlled by a man who trafficked her in the Greater Toronto Area.
Police, who started an investigation earlier this month, alleged the sex trafficker benefited financially while exploiting the woman.
Michael Mazza, 40, of no fixed address, is charged with trafficking in persons, material benefit from trafficking in persons, two counts of assault, assault with a weapon, and other offences.
