A 29-year-old man is wanted for a shooting that injured three people outside of a Hamilton nightclub last summer.
Hamilton Police say shots were fired around 5:40 a.m. on Aug. 25, 2024, outside of the former Club 33 – located at 33 Bowen St. – leaving three people wounded, including leaving two who suffered life-altering injuries.
Investigators have now identified a suspect and released the wanted man’s image hoping the public can help track him down.
Cory Parnell, of Hamilton, is wanted on three counts of aggravated assault, seven firearm-related charges and one count each of failure to comply with a probation order and operation while prohibited.
Police are urging him to retain legal counsel and turn himself in.

TWO YOUTHS ACCUSED OF DEALING DRUGS TO HOMELESS IN HAMILTON
Two youths in Hamilton face charges for their alleged involvement in fentanyl trafficking.
Hamilton Police say officers were in the area of King St. E. and James St. N. on Wednesday when they allegedly observed two youths displaying behaviour indicative of drug trafficking to unhoused people.
Police arrested the pair under the Controlled Drugs and Substance Act (CDSA) and one of the youths was taken into custody without incident while the other fled on foot and after a brief foot chase, the second youth was also arrested.
The first youth was charged with two possession for the purpose of trafficking charges (fentanyl, opiod), proceeds of crime under $5000 and failure to comply with release order.
The second youth was charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking (opioid) and proceeds of crime under $5000.

YORKVILLE SHOPKEEPER ASSAULTED AFTER REFUSING TO BUY ‘FAKE’ ROLEX
A man is sought for allegedly assaulting a shopkeeper in Yorkville after trying unsuccessfully to sell a fake Rolex.
Toronto Police say officers responded to a person with a gun in the area of Yorkville Ave. and Bellair St. – near Bay and Bloor Sts. – around 2 p.m. on Tuesday.
“A man entered a luxury watch store and attempted to sell a fake Rolex to the victim,” Const. Sinderela Chung said in a statement released Wednesday. “The victim recognized that it was not an authentic watch and refused the transaction.”
She said the man responded by assaulting the shopkeeper and then fleeing the area in a vehicle.
Investigators have released an image of a suspect hoping members of the public recognize him and come forward.
The man is described as 30 to 40 years old, 6-foot-2 to 6-foot-5, with a medium to large build.
The was wearing a yellow turban with a gold-coloured pin at the front, a black “Northface” winter jacket, black face covering, light blue jeans, yellow and black shoes with white soles (possibly Nike), and black gloves.
He was driving a vehicle described as a white 2017-2018 Mercedes CLS model sedan with the “CLS” model identifier removed.

MAN, 37, AND WOMAN, 35, BUSTED FOR ETOBICOKE BANK HEIST
A man and a woman are accused of robbing a bank in Etobicoke on Wednesday afternoon.
Toronto Police say officers responded to a holdup call at a bank in the area of Kipling Ave. and Bloor St. W. around 3:10 p.m.
It is alleged that two bandits arrived at the bank in a vehicle and one of them entered the bank wearing a mask to disguise their identity
“They placed their hand inside their jacket and indicated they were armed with a firearm while making a demand for cash,” Const. Sinderela Chung said in a statement released Thursday. “They took a quantity of cash and fled to the awaiting vehicle, which drove away from the area.”
She said responding officers quickly located a suspect vehicle with two occupants.
“They were able to stop the vehicle and take both suspects into custody after a short foot pursuit,” Chung said.
Mohamed Bashir Salat, 37, of Toronto, is charged with robbery, wearing a disguise with intent, possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000, and conspiracy to commit an indictable offence.
Afaf Shuayb Mohamed, 35, of Toronto, is charged with robbery and conspiracy to commit indicatable offence.

MAN SOUGHT FOR THEFT FROM WEST END VARIETY STORE
A man is sought for allegedly stealing an assortment of items from a variety store in the city’s west end.
Toronto Police say officers responded to a call for a person with a knife in the area of Bloor St. W. and Dufferin St. on Jan 18.
It was reported that a man walked a convenience store, grabbed items, pretended to pay by concealing his card with his thumb, and then quickly left with the unpaid items.
Police say the man was confronted by an employee upon exiting the store and he brandished a knife at the victim who ran away.
The thief then fled in an unknown direction
Investigators have identified a suspect and released his image hoping the public can help identify him.
He is described as 35 to 45 years old, about 5-foot-9, with a medium build and a short dark beard.
The man was wearing a black hoodie, black sunglasses, black or navy blue “Dickie’s” hooded jacket, dark blue jeans and black New Balance running shoes.

TRIO SOUGHT FOR OSHAWA HOME INVASION
The hunt is on for three males after an armed home invasion in Oshawa on Wednesday.
Durham Regional Police say officers responded around 4:20 a.m. to a home in the area of Rosedrop Path and Glenstal Path – near Simcoe St. N. and Winchester Rd. – after three males armed with a handgun broke into the residence while it was occupied and prevented the occupants from leaving the home.
Cops say the home invaders fled the area prior to the arrival of officers.
The victims were not physical injured and this is believed to be an isolated incident.
