A massage therapist is accused of sexually assaulting one of his clients twice during treatments at a clinic in Etobicoke.
Toronto Police say the alleged victim came forward around 6:30 p.m. last Saturday claiming the sexual assaults occurred near Bloor St. W. and Mill Rd. – west of Renforth Dr.
“It is alleged that the victim attended a business for a massage,” Const. Laurie McCann said in a statement Wednesday.
She said the client claims to have been sexually assaulted by the accused, who is a registered massage therapist, “on two separate occasions.”
Investigators subsequently arrested a suspect.
Chandra Babu Bala Sri, 46, of Toronto, is charged with two counts of sexual assault.
Police have released a photo of the accused because they are concerned about the possibility of other alleged victims.
He is scheduled to appear in a Toronto court on March 3.
Chandra Babu Bala Sri describes himself online as a physiotherapist, registered massage therapist, registered osteopathic manual practitioner and a certified pedorthist.
“I have over 22+ years clinical experience and I am active in my practice and performing home visits also,” his description states on luminohealth.sunlife.ca.
